Joy Rides Dunedin partners with area senior living facilities to provide tricycle rickshaw ("trishaw") rides as a weekly activity option for residents. The activity coordinator at the facility organizes the rides, while Joy Rides Dunedin provides the trishaws and the guides to conduct them, free of charge.

Volunteers not only serve as trishaw guides and support escorts, but with every aspect of the program: planning and coordination, fundraising, fleet maintenance, communication, and recording the riders' experiences through word, art, photography, or videography.
